Resveratrol and currants (black corinthian raisins)

Resveratrol is one of the many strengths of black corinthian raisins (currants)! It is an antioxidant which justifies the so-called “French paradox ” or else that mild consumption of red wine is beneficial for the human health.

Currants are a CHAMPION in resveratrol with a submultiple content than this of red wine. 100 grams of black corinthian raisins contain 39,68 mg of resveratrol among 25 other antioxidants, when various “superfoods” such as raspberries contain only 0.02 and blackberries 0,05.
